Getting Rid Of Cellulite

5 days ago - 36 views
Getting Rid Of Cellulite
Hey guys! It's Lace-Estella! Cellulite is a problem that lots of girls have. Here is more about it:

+WHAT iS iT?+
Cellulite is genetic. So if you're mom has it, you probably have it. Cellulite is lumps or "dimples" on your skin. It usually happens on girl's thighs or bums. Its perfectly normal and happens on girls of all weights and body types.

+CHANGE YOUR EATiNG HABiTS+
Eating healthier will definitely help. Eating more fiber and whole grains will also help. Some foods that are high in fiber are corn and white beans. Other foods that are high in whole grains are pasta and oatmeal.

+DRiNK MORE WATER+
Water helps you to shed extra fat, therefore shedding cellulite too. Water also builds collagen in your skin, which helps to hide cellulite.

+TONE YOUR MUSCLES+
Toning will help to disguise your cellulite. Some things that are great at toning muscles are yoga, pilates, jogging, and swimming.

+USE MASSAGE+
Massage is proven to help cellulite. There are many products to help massage cellulite away. I personally use Bliss by Fat Girl Slim. It works great. You can get it at Sephora or Ulta.

+USE CAFFINE BASED PRODUCTS+
Caffeine is also proven to help fight cellulite. It sounds crazy but it really does. Caffeine breaks up fat cells and tightens skin. There are many products for cellulite that contain caffeine. A caffeine-based exfoliator I use is called B3.

+TAN+
The darker you are, the less cellulite is visible. So go outside and catch some rays! Or if you don't tan very well, or if you need to get rid of cellulite quick, use a self tanner.

That's about all the tips I have! And remember, there is no true cure for cellulite. Even though it usually isn't very attractive, it's perfectly natural.

Raspberry Sorbet in Lemon Cups ♥

Raspberry Sorbet in Lemon Cups ♥
This is a quick and yummy treat for those hot summer days! It's a healthier option that's high in vitamin C! One of my personally fav snacks!

iNGREDiENTS ♥

+ 2 cups sugar

+ 2 cups water

+ 2 quarts raspberries, hulled and sliced

+ 1/4 cup fresh lime juice

+ 1/2 cup white corn syrup

DiRECTiONS ♥

+ Bring the sugar and 2 cups water to a boil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat.

+ Reduce the heat and allow the mixture to simmer, without stirring, until the sugar dissolves, about 3 minutes. Set aside to cool completely.

+ Place the raspberries and lime juice in a food processor and puree. Press the raspberry puree through a strainer to remove the seeds. When the sugar syrup has cooled completely, combine with the raspberry puree. Add the corn syrup and stir well.

+ Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's instructions. This is optional. If you do not have an ice cream maker, just freeze mixture in a bowl. Sorbet is particularly soft after churning but firms up after freezing.

+ Cut lemons in half, long-wise, hollow them out. Scoop sorbet into lemon bowls and serve chilled.

Taking Better Snapchat Pictures

Taking Better Snapchat Pictures
Hey guys! It's Lace-Estella // @orangelm! I love Snapchat and am always on it! Here's some tips to take better quality snaps!

+LiGHTiNG+
If you don't have good enough light, your pictures will look gritty. Step outside or turn on a lamp to make everything look brighter!

+FiLTERS+
Snapchat has filters? Whaaa.?

To get a black and white filter, type in "B&w..."
To get a negative filter, type in "Negative..."
To get a sepia filter, type in "Sepia..."

I just figured them out the other day! Now I can't stop using them!(:

+STAND STiLL+
Hard, I know! It's hard to take selfies without them being blurry! Here's my "method" of selfie taking:

1.) Hold your phone with two hands.
2.) Rest your elbows against your chest.
3.) Stabilize yourself against a wall.
4.) Look directly at the camera.
5.) Take the picture.

+USE DiFFERENT ANGLES+
Snapchat can get a little boring if you take pictures from exactly the same angle every time. Turn your head or your phone to the side sometimes! If you're feeling super adventurous, take an upside-down picture!(;

+USE THE FOCUS+
Double tap on the screen to pick an object to focus on. It will help to fix the lighting and correct color errors.

+USE THE VOLUME BUTTON+
The "+" button on the side of your iPhone will also take the picture. It is so much easier than having to feel for the touch button if you don't have a front facing camera!

+MAKEUP+
If you want to be super picky about your Snaps, wear natural looking makeup. Phone cameras aren't the best quality, so dewy or overly colorful makeup will most likely make your face look greasy or dirty.

+CLOTHES+
Solid colored clothing usually looks better in low quality pictures. Wear something simple like a crew neck t-shirt in a cute color.

+HAiR+
All hairstyles usually look fine in pictures. Adding a cute headband or accessory can add extra flair!

+FACES+
Try different weird faces! Isn't that what Snapchat is all about? Here are some faces to try:

Squinting
Duck Face
Distorted Alien
Half Smile
Creepy Smile
Winking
Sticking Your Tongue Out

That's about all I have! Thanks guys!

HOW TO CARE FOR FAiR SKiN ♥

20 days ago - 749 views
HOW TO CARE FOR FAiR SKiN ♥
Hello dears! Today was my last day of school & I am so excited for the summer! Lots of fun things to do!

A lot of people have fair skin and it needs special attention that most people neglect! There are just a few simple steps you need to follow to keep your skin at it's best!

O1. SUN EXPOSURE ♥

+ Sun and fresh air is good for everyone, but only stay in the sun for a few minutes at a time.

+ Always use sunblock. Even if you can tan, you need to use one.

+ If you lay out, start with only a few minutes every couple days and slowly increase the amount.

+ Wear a hat if you are going to be outside for a long time to protect your face, which is the most sensitive area of skin.

O2. SKiN CARE ♥

+ Use a Vitamin D cream to make up for lost amounts from lack of sun.

+ Find a daily skin care routine geared toward sensitive skin.

+ Try a foundation with a built in sunscreen for everyday use. BB creams usually work great.

+ Oil free products are best for fair skin.

+ Avoid using highly scented and/or colored products. These can affect sensitive, fair skin in a negative way.

+ You can use a self-tanner if you are self-conscious about your skin tone.

O3. MAKEUP CHOiCES ♥

+ Use foundations with SPF.

+ Try the lightest colors possible. Matching your undertone is extremely important.

+ Add a little color to your face with a naturally dyed blush or bronzer.

+ Use chapstick daily to keep your lips moisturized.

+ Only use naturally colored makeup.

+ Neutrals and light colors look nice on fair skin.

+ If you want color, go for a red lip. Find a moisturizing, naturally colored lipstick that you love and feel confident in.

O4. PREVENTiON ♥

+ Have a good dermatologist that can give you good tips and advice.

+ Go for a yearly appointment to look for early signs of aging and skin cancer.

+ Ask about prevention steps to keep your skin healthy.

+ Ask for more options to protect your fair skin.

That's all for now! Really hope this helps you!

Orange Creamsicles ♥
What a better way to cool off on a hot, summer day, than with a citrus creamsicle? This is super easy recipe to make Orange Creamsicles!

Ingredients :

+ 1 cup orange juice (fresh or frozen. you could also use orange juice concentrate for a stronger orange flavor)

+1 cup heavy cream (you could also substitute melted/very soft vanilla ice cream)

+ 3 tablespoons honey or agave nectar

+ 1/4 teaspoon orange extract

+ 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions :

+ In a medium bowl, whisk all ingredients together.

+ Pour mixture into popsicle molds. Let set for 30-60 minutes, then add popsicle sticks. Freeze for another 4-6 hours or until frozen.

+ When you’re ready to serve, run some warm water along your popsicle mold to loosen the popsicles and serve immediately.

Credit to ovenloveblog.com for this recipe!

That's all! Hope you love the hairstyle! ♥

Coil Bun ♥

Coil Bun ♥
Hey girlies! so i'm sick on memorial day, yayyy.. So I decided to make some tips today! :)

The set explains the steps very well, but I will go into more detail now!

+ Brush your hair out well.

+ Part your hair, I suggest a semi-deep part for this look, about 3 inches from the center of your forehead.

+ Tease your hair. Here's a video on how to tease your hair : http://youtu.be/qUizVFfGdkA

+ Divide your hair down the middle. You will create a left section and a right section.

+ Take the left section of your hair. Begin twisting the front pieces. Continue to tightly twist to the back of your head, picking up the rest of the pieces of the left section as you move back.

+ Once your reach the nap of your neck, twist straight down the length of your hair.

+ Coil the left section around itself near the center of your head. Securely pin and spray.

+ Repeat twisting process with the right section.

+ Coil the right section around the already coiled left section. Secure with pins and spray.

That's all! Hope you love the hairstyle! ♥
